AMAZON's POPULARITY AND ITS RISE

 In 1995, the website of Amazon was completed and was available for the customers. In the first month, Amazon received orders of books from all the states of America and many other countries. In the first year, Amazon gained revenue of more than one crore and fifty lakhs dollars. In. 1997 this site completed 10 lakh orders. In 1998 Amazon launched CDs and DVDs also. In 1998 Amazon started to deliver in the U.K and Germany. Next year, In 1999 Amazon started to sell electronics, video games, toys and things of daily use.1999 was the luckiest year for Jeff Bezos. Amazon was started as an online book store but it becomes a large company. In 1999 Amazon completed its 2 crore orders. These orders were received from more than 150 countries. The same year Jeff was called a person of the year by the TIME Magazine.
